Exciting deals for Hannah Morrish’s debut novel in the UK, Canada, US and Spain

Actor Hannah Morrish’s remarkable debut novel Such Stuff has been snapped up immediately in the UK, Canada, the US and Spain, with all of the publishers responding so passionately to the short novella - set in an actor’s dressing room in the hour before she goes on stage to play Miranda in The Tempest - that they all made offers to take it off the table.

The English-language publications will be in March/April next year (2027). In the UK, Ansa Khan Khattak at Sceptre will publish, and at Knopf Canada Kiara Kent is the editor. Carme Riera acquired the book for Alfaguara in Spain. Cindy Spiegel’s acquisition for Spiegel & Grau has just been announced in Publishers Weekly.

Hannah is planning further novels about women’s lives in the world of theatre, and has an exciting career as a novelist ahead.
