Gavin McCrea’s ROUSSEAU’S LOST CHILDREN longlisted for the American Library in Paris Book Award
Gavin McCrea’s Rousseau’s Lost Children (John Murray) has been longlisted for the American Library in Paris Book Award 2026. The award “celebrates works of literature, both fiction and nonfiction, that draw on France as a timeless source of inspiration. Created in 2013, the Book Award builds on the Library’s century-long tradition of bringing France, its culture and history into dialogue with the wider world. It is open to books in all genres, originally published in English.”
The Book Award is chaired by John Burnham Schwartz, author of six acclaimed novels, and carries a $5,000 prize. The shortlist will be announced in September. Congratulations, Gavin!
