Ferdia Lennon wins Premio Gregor von Rezzori

The Italian edition of Glorious Exploits (Eroi senza gloria) published by NN Editore (in a translation by Valentina Daniele) was awarded the prestigious Premio Gregor von Rezzori in Florence at the weekend with the kind of speech (see photo below) a writer dreams of. Thank you to judges Beatrice Monte della Corte (President), Andrea Bajani, Maylis de Kerangal, Alberto Manguel, Maaza Mengiste and Colm Tóibín for seeing all that this book has to offer and expressing it so beautifully.
