Morgana Rubini

Morgana is a London-based essayist and poet, and the founder of Food Relics, an independent platform for writing about food, desire, art, books, the body and the ways in which we research and make knowledge. Her work moves between memoir, criticism, autotheory and video.

She began Food Relics while working across markets, cheese rooms, restaurants and farms. Through essays and videos exploring taste, books and physical media, she has built an audience of more than 70,000 across platforms, including over 4,000 Substack subscribers.

Morgana is a published poet, reads regularly and gives lectures across London. She holds an MA in Cultural Studies with Distinction from SOAS and is working on her first book, a hybrid of essay, memoir, poetry and recipes, gathered into an alternative archive of a life lived through desire.
