Ferdia Lennon was born and raised in Dublin. He holds a BA in History and Classics from University College Dublin and an MA in Prose Fiction from the University of East Anglia. His debut novel, Glorious Exploits, was a Sunday Times bestseller and was the winner of the Waterstones Debut Fiction Prize, the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for Comic Fiction and the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature. His second novel, Brother Nothing, is forthcoming with Penguin Fig Tree and Henry Holt in 2027. His work has been translated into over twenty languages.

Stage rights for Glorious Exploits have been optioned by Adam Spiegel Productions. Film & TV rights are also under option.
